At W.B. Saul High School, a magnet school in Northwest Philadelphia, completing your senior year is a little bit different than at most schools. Students enrolled at Saul choose to major in Environmental Science, Food Science, Agricultural Science and Animal Science. In their senior year, they work with other students to focus on a project using their news science skills and knowledge.
Animal Science majors produced videos highlighting their senior projects with WHYY Instructor, Nick Gandulfo-Lucia.
Senior Rat Training: Seniors in the Animal Science track worked over the course of a year to train rats.
Farmshow: Students share their experience about participating in the annual Farm Show.
