WHYY’s high school Summer Filmmakers tried their hand at the Action/Adventure genre with their film, LATE. This was the second project of WHYY’s high school Summer Filmmakers program, where students were assigned a genre and line of dialogue to include in their script to guide their production process.
LATE is a gripping story of one employee’s journey to the kitchen to beat the crowd to the free food after forgetting her lunch at home. Watch as the employee overcomes a treacherous trip meeting a sidewalk cyclist, locked doors and nasty co-workers to get lunch. “I like to wear my shoes without socks” was the line of dialogue they had to utilize in this masterpiece.
